Wow! Very pretty egg color. Congratulations! I can't wait until my Am. start to lay.

I'll second that, just2rosey. But I am NOT going to hold my breath, cuz I'd be as blue as the eggs. Their faces are still pink as a baby's bottom. I want BLUE EGGS.

I got rid of 3 roos that weren't Ameruacanas. So everything I hatch from this point forward will have the Blue egg gene, even the mutts. Woohoo. I have to post some pictures of my Black Roos from Jean. They are the most AWESOME birds I have seen in my life. (I'm new tho. LOL)

After months of no blue eggs, I am happy to say that I have gotten "2" this week. Thats pretty sad, LOL.

1 egg from a new layer who is a Black/Lavender Split....lots of excitement over that one

The other from my other Lavender pen whick has Blacks, Lavs, and Splits.

Needless to say I am hopeful that this trend will continue now that most are done molting and the others are finally coming of age to lay.

This will be a good kind of winter "blue"

Looks like the facial feathering is going to be awesome on the blue or splash chick in the last photo. Anyways, they are all fluffy-pluffy nuggets of joy. Congrats!
