I have a newbie question that I just have to ask because I'm too impatient to wait 'til she lays. :)

The guy in my avatar is Daddy(he's full blooded Ameraucana). Momma is some kind of lemon blue bantam. Any chance of colored eggs from their daughter?

I(well, not me personally, the lemon banty did the hard work) hatched out of a blue egg, a female that looks like a Delaware may have been Daddy, mom was the Ameraucana(I bought this egg and her 3 brothers). Again, any chance of colored eggs?

Thanks!

Daddy came from blue egg and momma came from blue egg? I would say you have a good chance of fun colored egg. Of course the chicks will be considered an easter egger but if you are not going to show your birds or try to sell them as ameraucana who cares! Easter eggers lay awesome eggs!

eggs should still be green or blueish green at least.

And even then you can't be sure. I had two full-blood sisters from a BW rooster over a Welsummer hen that looked absolutely identical. One laid a nice dark green egg and then other a pinkish/purplish egg.

God Bless,

Royce
