They will only lay one egg color, but they have the genetics to pass on just about any color.Does that mean they will lay a variety of colors? Or just what color they lay first?
It means that different EEs lay different colors. The breed can laya blue egg, green egg, brown egg, pink egg, almost any color you can think of, you won’t know what color they will lay until they start laying. A chicken will only lay one color of egg.Does that mean they will lay a variety of colors? Or just what color they lay first?
She... does not look like an ameraucana - she is lovely and so is her egg, but I have never seen an Ameraucana without cheek puffs. I think she has some in her maybe....Well, I bought her as an Ameraucana and she looks like an Ameraucana from what I’ve researched. So, I’m going with Ameraucana.
I'm no chicken expert but she is beautiful no matter what she is!Well, I bought her as an Ameraucana and she looks like an Ameraucana from what I’ve researched. So, I’m going with Ameraucana.
