Your bird looks like an Easter Egger to me. His color pattern isn't right for an Ameraucana. And, if the hens that are laying are related to him, they should be laying blue eggs if they were Ameraucanas .
If you have pure ameraucanas and you mix the colors in the pens (blue wheaten rooster with silver hens as an example) you just made the offspring ee's as the offspring wont breed true to color. So since you say there were several blue wheaten roosters in the pen, this tells me either someone mixed their ameraucana colors or had ee's that looked close to blue wheaten in color. Either way your boy is a pretty ee.Is it not,, I was told his eggs came from a pen with several Blue Wheaten roos,, What missing,,, More blue,,I knew i should have kept his brother,,
EE's can look like anything since they are mix mutts. All they have to do is lay a blue or green egg and not meet a breed standard to be considered a ee.They all have grey legs,,,,Must be something else in that bloodline then...
Yes, you'll get sex links. Male chicks will have a white spot on their heads at hatch, females will have solid heads. I can't say for sure, but with that reddish color of the rooster, your females will probably be colored pretty close to hatchery black sex links. They'll probably have muffs/beards, pea combs. The males will look pretty much like momma.
