I Would like to view about this whole Easter Eggers vs Araucanas vs Ameraucanas in very technical terms.
Before 1984 There we're three types of Araucana loosely related to each other(so far the only conclusive evidence is the genetic sequence of their blue eggshell mutations) the first Chilean Stock imported to the USA were called Araucanas due to Natives of South America these were likely adsorbed into other lines. The Araucanas that Hatcheries started selling in late 1960s and have not stopped selling but have not kept any type of standard for reasons only known to them. These second type of Araucanas were/are Easter Eggers in the most technical terms even if the term have only really cought up rather recently(2000s to present). Some of these lines contribuited to the what latter was officially known by the APA as the Araucana
