Help. My three Ameraucana hens quite laying at the same time approximately three weeks ago and I cannot figure out why. The Wyandotte hen is laying still. Hens are only 20 months.

They have plenty of water, feeds and have been allowed to free roam when I am able to watch them (due to a sly fox that took one at that time) as well as increased their chicken run area when they cannot free roam. I have noticed some feathers in the laying boxes but not enough to believe they are molding.

Comments and suggestions welcomed. Thank you.

Yes it has been very humid and hot as well as rainy. It is just weird that all three stopped at the same time after the fox got the Wyandotte and the Wyandotte that is laying is not affected.

Thank you so much everyone for your help. I hope they start laying again soon. If not, I guess we have three pets!

Were are you located are these birds from a breeder or Hatchery? possibly breeder birds could go broody or if they are now in run not free range you can put your location in your profile and a big Welcome to Backyard Chickens
the fox could be a reason for it all also
