Ameraucaunas vs EEs

Could the eggers not also be pea combed or bearded and come in those varieties of colours?
Yes, it's possible. The differences usually become more evident with age. It also depends what was made to make OE crosses. Crosses and EE will often look very similar to the Ameraucana.., but as pattern comes in fully it may present with leakage of different sorts. The light ones could be coming in wheaten?? Note the leg color early on. Eye color will also change as well as down.

How much did you spend, are they straight run?

So many cuties, I love the dark blue ones! :love

I'm not sure if you're in Canada or the US but here in Canada, heritage breeds or pure bred chickens aren't nearly as readily available. It was $7 for the eggers and $10 for the ameraucanas, per chick. Yes, they're straight run.
