In the back is Martha between the Embden and a Toulouse. She is definitely shorter than them even though they are several weeks younger.
Martha up close.

I love this breed and if I ever have a chance to get a few I will.Martha is okay in quality. She is not show worthy. Neither is Mary. Boris is a nicer quality bird. I think they are all pretty. The 3 of them are all pets. Their offspring will be for the table. So I am not interested in showing. I do enjoy these birds!
They are so pretty, and Martha doesn't look over weight to me, just that nice plump goose look[ but don't tell her I said she looked plump]
Very nice, we live on the side of a mountain pretty steep but my geese, ducks and chickens do pretty well in the part we have fenced. Just not much level ground around here for them to graze in, My dh calls it billy goat country,Thanks! That is just the entrance to the pasture. The pasture is about an acre.
They are both beautiful girls. and looks great them swimming in the pool with your Pekins. Here's some updated pics of my girls- Lady (buff) & Lucy ( buff/Toulouse mix) they are just dolls really and are learning about bedtime routines Hahahaha from our pekin girls - everyone's a happy flock . I just can't believe how much they have grown !! They are such funny lil characters!!
