American Buff or Pilgrim pair and where to buy just a set of 2?

Did you order two females? I am wanting a couple of geese but am kind of scared of getting attacked myself. Lol

Is it just the males that attack or both?

I ordered a pair, one male and one female. From the research I've done it seems like the Pilgrims are a pretty friendly breed and I plan on handling them a lot.

Buffs are a very calm goose, and they're really only aggressive during breeding season. If you raise them by hand they shouldn't just attack you randomly!

My buff gander just hisses at me and ruffles his feathers but this only started since mating season. I have told my 6yo daughter that she needs to stay away from them right now. But she will his back at him if he hisses at her.
