But won't they fight if they can see each other like that so close?

Looks good man. Instead of buying straw try grass clippings or leaves. I like leaves in some of my pensWell it’s finally done lol. View attachment 2119531
You're not being a negative Nelly LOLI hate to be a negative Nelly
I just always assumed they needed to be spaced apart a fairly good distance to avoid tearing themselves up trying to get at each other.
Right. I wouldn't just do it willy nilly either . Especially if it's going to perpetuate false advertising. I would rather pure game over cross any day .And idk I'm not really for mixing them up unless you have a purpose and plan to let 0 out the main reason is a lot claim them to be something they are not. I'm not really for it but in her situation I'm not against it.
Possum. What do you think got her
Well Don, I had to think loooong and hard about the crossing LOL Plans change and you sure can't count chicks before they hatch nor even count on eggs being laid - for now, it is what it is.
I'm sorry.....Right. I wouldn't just do it willy nilly either . Especially if it's going to perpetuate false advertising. I would rather pure game over cross any day .
It also heavily degrades the birds valued.
I know some people that have done it before ,like the farmer I mentioned . He didn't want to spend the money on new genetics for his games so he made all kinds of crosses, and sold them as barn yard mixes. The most he got Out of a bird was $10 for a stag . I wouldn't do what he did but thats where I got my Silkie cross from. View attachment 2119679. She's a funny looking chicken.
Possum.
I'm only guessing off of what I have been repeatedly catching in my live trap .
Although what else would I expect to catch in a live trap.
Keep us updated on what they look like. I'm curious to see how they turn out .
I'm not fond of crosses all that much myself because you end up with a mix of two different purpose birds, but it always interests me to see what they Might make.
