Probably the same kind I told you way back on that other thread you started. Some kind of gamefowl without layers mixed in.

I almost forgot about that ... Man, I must have woke up on an electric fence that day.

I still forget to proof read my stuff .

I think he was talking about a breed of gamefowl- Hatch is a family usually green legged and they are red fowl.

Oh ...I wouldn't know that , but thanks for clarifying.

any idea whats wrong with the old man? He was fine yesterday, I went to feed and water and check on everyone this morning and I find him like this. No rattle in his chest or any other visual problems. His face is swollen on that side

Mycoplasma most likely.

That's a respiratory problem...I'm clueless in chicken diseases but it looks like one.

Hillbilly I’m guessing you’ve added birds over the past few years. More than likely picked it up that way.

That bubble eye will run through the flock. I quarantine my birds when they get home from a show where they are in contact with roosters from other places for that reason. Hold his mouth closed and put your fingers over his nostrils and he will bubble out of his eyes.

I have a chick that has developed the same problem for awhile. Fortunately he hasn't gotten any worse...

The wife put some kinda antibiotic on his eye which seemed to help.

I have a few but all was quarantined. He is quarantined as soon as I found him. Treatable or cull? Everything I have read says it stays with them for life

I would cull every single bird showing symptoms
