Ive got the paperwork for it so when I decide I wanna put it in the water I’ll register it.

I know you’ll have to with a motor I was just wondering if there’s a size limit. I think it’s anything over 12 ft here, or if you’re using any kind of motor including trolling motors. Canoes and kayaks are exempt unless there’s a trolling motor hooked up.

Yep I agree I probably handle my birds way more than I should checking them over on a daily basis but I’m sure it helps in the long run. I can’t stand seeing these pics of birds in pens that look Like they’ve never been cleaned out. I had to buy some new feed cups I had the red ones I’ve posted pics of with the little cups but they stayed nasty and had to be cleaned non stop and were a real pain ordered a bunch from pinnon hatch last week and they like them way more.

I wanna get a 14 footer with a 9 horse 10 is max on the lakes here and if you go anything bigger than a 14 you have to have so much stuff on board it’s not worth it lol

Haha I know. Well long story short a guy wanted to trade me a bass boat for that old cammed souped up Silverado then I backed out on him. Figured it was worth more in parts if my black truck ever needs em... plus I wanted something smaller if I was to get a boat less maintenance and less wear an tare on the truck. I Told my buddy alls I was after was a Jon boat or the likes so he has a FB and kept an eye out sent it to me yesterday. So I drove 3hrs one way to get it only paid $500... for that I figured heck if I don’t like it I can sell it and get that back.

The trailer is worth at least half of what you paid for it. Nice man

Thanks. I’ve got the poles it’s got a trolling motor I just got it for calmer bodies of water and coves. I don’t know if I’ll even like a boat and with that being said I didn’t wanna go crazy.

If you like fishing from the bank at all, you're gonna love using a boat to get where the fish hang out. Bank fishing sux! But when you have a boat, you can go from Bass hole to Bass hole .
You might want to get someone good at fishing and familiar with the lakes and rivers you'll be fishing. Once you know where they hide depending on season, breeding and water conditions, you'll be tearing them up in no time. With a boat you can go to where they are chowing down, instead of hoping they will come give your worm a nibble.

In sc just a trolling motor dont require registration

In this stupid state slapping a trolling motor on anything requires registration.
Some states have to register canoes with no motor. I believe PA is one of them. Could be wrong though and don’t feel like looking it up to double check.
