American Gamefowl

Nobody is getting on you buddy but even some hens are so aggressive they can’t have birds running loose on the outside of the pens. It’s one thing for that little black hen of yours to show some dominance and displeasure with another hen but it’s quite another when a hen snaps off her spurs and peels her toes down to the bone because she’s kicking the wire just like a rooster.
It’s not cool or tough. It’s a nightmare and total PITA when it happens.

I understand and I appreciate the patience you guys have for all of my questions. I do recall coming across posts from you guys saying how you have to put certain hens on tie cords because they kept getting into fights.

No they get put on cords to treat afterwards or to handle and separate away from the rest. My white hen tore herself up so bad first her daughter next day a hen twice her size then pen fighting with my sons blue hen, but she never gave an inch she got treated an penned and she'll stay there at least till fall. Shes not one to quit even if she's a million miles behind an out gunned. No use in losing such a good hen and momma because she has that grit an heart the will to continue above all odds she never thinks she's getting whipped.

You either got it or you don’t. He’s got it. He wasn’t on the ground 5 seconds before those pullets came charging right to him.
