American Gamefowl

I paint my traps and tie cords pink then I run over a bunch of potatoes in my front yard. Farmers are sabotaging me! I did employ some child labor though.

Havoc, I don’t care if you relocate your young possums ... just quit dropping them off at my place! ;)

And don’t be making fun of my trap pan... my brother caught a big coon in this trap and it made some adjustments to it

Them havaharts are made to last. Lol I still have one left. I caught a monster boar coon in one a long time ago. No idea what he was thinking he barely fit in there. Anyway he didn’t even have a tail and was rubbed. He bent that cage so bad like it was made out of tin foil. Dare I say I let him go. Had a hard time prying the door open. He came out huffing, flashed me a thumbs up and was on his way.
I drop off my relocated animals up the road aways from you. ;)

I’m not even sure this is a Havahart brand... it might be... or it might be one of the even cheaper knock off ones? They all seem pretty flimsy these days...

I’ve never actually bought a new cage trap... I find that you can usually find someone giving them away or yard sale-ing them cheap after they give up on chicken keeping ;)

I’ve parted with a few by loaning them to friends, and then just saying “keep it”... I currently have four now, 2 sets of 2 ( 1 big 1 little)

two of the ones I have now my brother gave me when he moved years ago... they’re the newer, cheaper ones ...

... and two I inherited... those two are older style and better made ... they are metal rod frames wrapped with wire, they have no sheet metal... but the one needs new wire... it’s probably good for about two more big coons before I have to rework the wire on it too though
