I also thought that.That fly looks awfully dry and pristine... fess up you gotta hills brothers can full of crawlers you catch em with and then just set the fly up for the pic, huh?
You definitely don’t need it with that fly though. It’s got deer hair and snowshoe rabbit fur. Practically impossible to sink. If you do use floatant you can pop it and drag it under though.I have some sorta floatant goo I use ... it doesn’t come in a cool loon bottle though
