I do like bluegills when fried. I had bass once but I didn’t like it at all.
I prefer hot dogs.

Bass is my favorite
But I've heard it depends on where you live.

Well around here it’s probably not safe to eat anyway.
I’d imagine they’d have an antifreeze and runoff aftertaste.

Yeah, my dad had that dug just before I was born... I think... kinda forgetting the year at the moment.

It has some nice largemouth and bluegill... but that “water shield” lily stuff is a royal pain

You have to be in a patient mood to fish that pond. Cast and let the fly sit until something bites it. Lol

No no... they hit right off, but the water sheild is really tough so they hang up

Gotcha. Yeah that’s annoying. I’ve had quite a few get loose on me like that. I usually get pissed and splash my paddle in the water.
