American Gamefowl

Wow that sounds awesome. I don’t suppose you’d be willing to take on the roll of mentor for me?
I have to look into it more to see how it works. I have to review the rules a little. I’m not sure how you purchase the licenses and all.
It’s a new program designed to get more people in the outdoors.

I was kinda surprised the friend was allowed to keep it because I’ve heard in the past that they often confiscate them, just in case the person reporting it was the person that did it, or whatever...

Maybe that’s just when things seem fishy or something, I dunno
Yeah usually they’ll take em and mount em in their offices.

Sounds good, I’ll look into it too. I’d be awfully appreciative if you decided to mentor me.

You just can’t hunt fox and coyote at night, with a rifle of any kind or hunt bear.
You would need to buy all the appropriate licenses and stamps though. Federal duck stamp, state waterfowl stamp, hip cert if duck hunting. For deer you would need either a regular firearm license or bow. I’m guessing you’ve never shot either right? Best bet would be to get a firearm license and decide if you want to hunt ducks, deer or small game. If deer you would need a shotgun deer permit in the zone you would want to hunt which would be down here by me cause I ain’t driving up there lol.
You’re also allowed to hunt the 6 day firearm season (bucks only) with just the firearms license. Here it’s 3 points on at least one side of the rack. So can’t be shooting “Missouri legal deer” :lau

I read it. So no muzzle firearms and no hunting at night. I don’t mind having to pay for the licenses and stamps, I just hope it’s not that much.
You are correct I have never fired a gun before.
