American Gamefowl

The $15 bucks is tempting, and I like a challenge... I think holding them off till November is doable with my setup...

...but setting heavy and trying to catching all of them in one night in the near future tickles my fancy a bit more ;)

Those 5 were under the mulberry tree next to the chicken coop last night... but I had another one in the front yard last night too...

...I slipped out the back door with my little T-bolt and was putting the sneak on, when I looked up and saw our yard doe 20 yards away looking at me...

...she’s got a fawn stashed around here right now and let’s us see it every couple of days...

... so I just turned around and went to bed and gave her the yard.
Nothing a humane bouncing Betty couldn’t take care of.

Lol, that looks loud... I like not-loud :p

I was thinking MBs and 155 body grips... since my bees don’t have enough surplus wax to cover my cages yet ... those kits look wiley and probably wouldn’t fall for an unwaxed cage :lau
You can’t argue with its effectiveness though. Lol
Only humans could come up with something like that.

Lol... you’re not wrong...

It made me think of this video ...

...I’m not a fan of tannerite though...mostly because so many knuckleheads in the surrounding 10 square miles think it’s fun and every so often another discovers it and we have to listen to it for the next 3 weekends...

Ok. You win. The hogs are destructive as hell, I get that. The hillbillies blowing up barrels in the next video is a little much. They need a hobby or something. The banjo music is pretty fitting though.

How old are the chicks in the first pic? At least you know which ones are the stags... I had some 4 week old chicks doing that earlier. Usually they are about 7 weeks old before they start that. It turns out, there was one pullet in the bunch. I think I will keep her. lol
They’re ridiculous. I had to turn them loose. I still had to keep separating them. Finally I put 4 stags in drop pens. They’re 36 days old.
