My last GS came from the pound aswell I'm not against getting something from the pound. Now my black GS pup now is from a retired K9 cop in the county. I didn't know anything about it, I told my wife if she'd came home with anything else it would have went back haha very pleased with this girl but i did go see the father in person even afterwards.

I'm not against adopting from the pound either. . it's the fact that so many of them make it such a rigamaro most people won't go through all of that.

The last dog I got from a shelter was from GA. I got her for free and just had to put her down last year at 17 yrs old.

Yep dogs in packs is a huge issue. They act like a pack of wolves.
There’s other charts on there. 284 pitbull fatalities. A lot of them were the owners. Makes you wonder when you hear “oh he’s friendly”
They’re all friendly til they aren’t.

Regardless of the kind of dog very few would happen if the dogs were trained better and kept on their owners property.

Here the pounds are pretty reasonable but the rescues are really strict & expensive. It doesn’t make sense to me.
