I have a fancy set of farberware kitchen knives with plastic handles. No sh*t one of the handles is all chewed up from a pup years ago. I found the knife in the dogs crate.

Nope no I use whatever knife is on my hip to cut food with. I don’t mind the taste of 3 in 1 oil. That’ll get you a few looks too.

Man I’ve forgotten to properly clean a knife and been half way through and apple before remembering what that blade last touch a couple times

I do find it amusing that I’m the only one with a knife at the party to open the clam packs all the little Chinese toys come in.
I’ve handed a knife to them and they’re like “you better do it”

Then again it may seem odd that I’m carrying such a large knife to a Christmas party? You never know what’s gonna go down. It is NJ after all.

Before they all got bigger it used to be a line of kids at my knee waiting...

I liked to say ‘oh thanks I don’t have one of these’ when they’d hand me their toy ... and watch their little panicked faces for a moment... I’m that uncle too

I also make smart comments about the fake tree. This particular one comes pre lit which is absolutely unacceptable.
