She’s a kelso cross. I’d like to breed her I have another hen at my wife’s grandparents that’s a black cross that has some biddys but there god knows what so we’re gonna cull them for meat birds when there of age.

You don’t know what else besides kelso? You need to remember you’re gonna get half whatever she is combined with whatever rooster you get. It doesn’t seem wise to me to pay $$ for a rooster only to breed him to a mostly unknown hen.

I agree with that 100% I’m gonna find out what the other side of her is she was kind of a 3rd party deal my buddy’s friend breeds kelso blue face and Asil birds and he brought her to me. She’s not a for sure thing I’m gonna breed too she’s turned into more of a pet than anything at this point so I’ll most likely get my rooster and get a pure hen too.

I haven’t got that message back yet he usually sells them from around 100-300 depending on what he has

Nothing wrong with crosses once you get em a bit more consistent. Which may take awhile or may luck out.

I’m sure he does I’m waiting on a reply now service is spotty where he’s at. Only reason he got rid of this hen was he had way to many and needed to downsize he raised some biddys out of her too

I know all to well about spotty service once I'm off the porch away from the wifi it's a wish in one hand an shit in the other type deal.
