American Gamefowl

I don’t think crosses are an issue at all. Crossing gamefowl with layers and silkies is kinda ridiculous though. It’s kinda like driving a fast car but never getting past 2nd gear. Kinda pointless unless you’re just harvesting them for food.
That's what was getting at . They don't lay very many eggs and aren't exactly show quality.

Reminds me of how my wife drives..

Nice little pen setup though just needs a little adding on to. Which is no big deal, but I also wouldn't feel safe with gamefowl that close together sounds like you'll get it straightened out.

Sand works drains pretty well I've got it in my barrels for cords, straw, horse manure mix, etc etc like Billy said even leaves and grass will do just fine. It's all in what ya wanna do theirs guys that use other stuff too.
I’ve got enough plywood scrap left over I’m gonna rip some 1ft strips down today that way there’s about a foot of wire left for air to circulate and I may drop the roosts down just a fuzz I almost cut them 3ft high to begin with but changed my mind mid ways now after all the suggestions and thinking I’m definitely gonna do it. These birds mean to much to me to watch them tear the hell out of there self on hardware cloth lol

I know you're making modifications, of course we want to see when you get that done!

Curious as to overall dimensions of your build and size of each pen. I do like that.
16ft long 4x4 stalls with full front opening gates with 2x4 welded wire with 4ft high ceilings 2ft dividers soon to be 3ft lol with 2ft of 1/2 hardware cloth

Well it’s fixed I let him try it out lol
