Have you handled him much before recently? Just because you raised him to maturity doesn’t mean a thing if you’ve gone long periods of time before you touched him again.Lol okay I just thought it wasn’t so common ,I am grabbing him and he seems to calm down when he is in my arms, and he was a stag like 7monthe old and I raised him to maturity there it’s quite big for one cock if you put hen it’s crowded ofc depending on their sizes but I guess maybe you are right because where he was,was an old house for breeding
I wouldn’t doubt it one but I let my untrained dog in the coop and it killed all my birds what should I do some people amaze me but ok second thought not really with the way the world is.Wonder if the idiots that owned this dog is on BYC? Total dumb*sses.
my dogs have killed chickens before no reason to put them down it’s natural instinctWonder if the idiots that owned this dog is on BYC? Total dumb*sses.
People are stupid and lazy. Anyone who gives up a dog for that is unreal. Hopefully the pup finds a home. I can’t take it since I’ve already got 3 and have a puppy on the way in about a month.my dogs have killed chickens before no reason to put them down it’s natural instinct
First thing you need to do is get rid of the wire pen. If you can’t have him on ground then you shouldn’t have chickens. Worst thing you can do is keep them on wire. Hard on feet and no dirt to dust bathe in makes for a depressed bird.Aye guys I’ve never had this experience maybe someone can tell me what’s going on I have this rooster since he was a stag about since 2018 around there he’s a great bird always carry’s himself with pride,I was going to breed him this month with a hen I had she was ready to mate and I had them in a small house I use for breeding but she wasn’t going broody so I took em out put em in the cage now the cage his in he was there since he was a stag he had no problem with it,but as a person who has had his share of roosters being scared non breed rooster ofc he is doing the sign of scared it’s when like a cock is scared of another they run away and put their neck feathers up he is just like that but in his cage what could he be afraid ofView attachment 2450571View attachment 2450572
It’s been mentioned a few times already.First thing you need to do is get rid of the wire pen. If you can’t have him on ground then you shouldn’t have chickens. Worst thing you can do is keep them on wire. Hard on feet and no dirt to dust bathe in makes for a depressed bird.
