American Gamefowl

Your barking up the wrong tree take your 35 yrs straight back to one of the oriental threads. That he is a she and yes she’s new but has been given all the advice needed before she received any birds.
Sorry my mistake didn’t know. You have a big ego don’t you. I go way back with American Gamefowl. What do you have against orientals they are the oldest known breed of gamefowl you know. I’m not hear to start a pissing contest so back off. There’s always a know it all in the bunch. There’s so much to learn about gamefowl as you are always picking up more wisdom. If you claim to know it all that just shows your ignorance. Instead of bad mouthing me you should look in the mirror and get real with yourself.

What crawled up in your craw. I’m just giving sound advice from my 35 yrs experience with gamefowl. I was helping Wyorp Rock as he’s new to gamefowl. This is the USA if you don’t like what I have to say that’s your right but don’t disrespect me or anyone else Because you don’t agree.
 I'm a girl! I'm over the hill and naturally blonde too if that helps.
Havoc and I discussed these birds for a long time before I decided I wanted to tackle them. The roosters (and some hens) are no joke and definitely have to be managed.

My ego is just fine. Nobody said they know it all. You came in here ripping a guy that’s in Puerto Rico about his pens. You have mentioned your 35 yrs experience. Nobody asked or cares. I never claimed to know it all and neither has anyone else. You should follow your own advice.

That’s great, they are the best breed of all poultry, beautiful, proud, and game wich separates them from all others... congrats I’m sure you have some nice ones would like to hear about what strains you have. My favorites are Brown Reds and Redquills and you can’t leave out the good Hatches. Show more pics..

I read most of this... maybe I’m wrong but you did mention keeping many hens to one rooster. Is this the way you like to breed?

No I don’t like to flock breed, I single mate all my broods. I’m just saying that if the hens are raised with each other from birth then you can keep several to one cock if you choose to. I have to keep mine all separated even the hens as they will fight and wreck each other.
