Oh Sanjaya, Sanjaya, Sanjaya. There was a time when we used to refer to staying on longer than deserved as Jasmine Trias Syndrome. Then came Sanjaya and boy did he grab ahold of that tiara and were like it was diamond studded platinum.
In the beginning the audition was nice, had potential, but it wasn't long before the truth of they kept him for the live show for ratings. They knew the tweens would drive their mommy's to the nuthouse begging to vote. How many moms cried when they got their phone bills.
Every week he got worse. It was beginning to become a joke. Then it did become a complete joke.
Oh the night of the hair that this ex hairdresser will refer to as a "Poodle Don't Hawk" was special. I would have loved to be sitting there during the hair consultation so I could know who put him up to it and why he agreed (maybe just to stick it to Simon who was done with him already). The last couple weeks he was on poor Simon was just in pain watching and having to comment. That was hysterical.
We already knew he shouldn't be there anymore. I'm sure he knew it was past his time as well. I laughed more during Idol than ever before or since watching him butcher another song with that Poodle Hawk bouncing around. He was up there just having a good ol time of it no matter what was going to happen. I loved Simons comment of something like it doesn't matter what I say at this point.
Scott Sabol if I remember correctly who he was seemed like this loveable teddy bear that slowly turned into something else. He did stay to long.
