I am pleasantly surprised with Steven and Jennifer too! I think the chemistry between the 3 is awesome! I was never a big fan of Idol, then last year when there was 10 or so left we started watching. Then I couldn't wait for this season to start. Haven't missed one yet! I agree there is a lot of talent there this year. I was surprised they let Ashley (?) the girl that has had too many break downs already , go through. She can sing but she cant handle the pressure. Scottie is a fav of mine too, and JC the 15 year old little cutie. He doesnt even have to try , he just opens his mouth and it works!!

I had to turn it off last night. Couldn't sit there and listen to those depressing songs anymore. I can't stand the beatles so I don't know if there were any good or not- they all sounded horrible to me. I didn't watch last year's either though. I really enjoyed it the year before though. I think I like America's Got Talent more though. and I wish they would out the Nashville Star show back on. Country music is soooo much better.

Paula was the biggest reason I didn't get in to the show until last year. I tried watching it while she was on and she annoyed me. I know tons of people love her and thats great, I just don't care for her. I too feel Jennifer really meant it and was upset that she had to let them down. I can't believe they sent Chris home

Yeah, thechickenchick, Chris is who I was referring to in my last post. I can't believe he didn't make it to the top 24... from what I saw of him that man has some serious pipes!

Watching tonight as they pick the top 24. I didnt watch the show last week, but in seeing the previews of some of these singers, wow! I cant believe how many good singers they have this year. I wonder if they didnt do something different this year, since so many people said that last year was so lackluster in the talent department.

This is going to be a good competition.
