OMG the guest stars SUCKED what a way to ruin a perfect good song. Someone needs to be in charge of screening the guest and listen to their songs they plan on trying to sing. If the so call guest stars were on the chopping block they both would be sitting on the get out of here stools

Ok .. I'm gloating a little after last nite.

Yes, Pia has an amazing voice, maybe the best one of the lot. But it's not all about VOICE. She has been told week after week after week after week that if she is going to survive this that she has to show some emotion and attachment to the audience. Week after week after week, she promises to do it NEXT week, and never does.

When they announced she was doing a Tina Turner song, I was almost excited ... FINALLY Pia was going to "cut loose" .. then she started walking around and I looked at DH and said "Wow, that's Pia, cutting loose ..

". She was also the ONLY one that got any criticism .. again for her non emotional attachment to the audience (who are the ones VOTING).

The look on her face said it all .. she KNEW it COULDn't be HER ... She thought she was safe because of her perfect voice.

Every week we see Stefano growing and getting better (although I really think he'll be next) ..

Every week Haley is getting stronger and more confident.

This week Scotty blew me away by showing that he's not just a one trick pony.

Paul is stretching and entertaining.

Lauren is getting stronger and more confident..

Pia just became stagnant.

I also really thought they were over-the-top with their reactions. I'm sure Stefano feels just great about them obviously saying he should be going home and they wouldn't be upset .. also Casey is probably wondering if they are second guessing their "save" .. (I personally think it was the right choice.)

Wow .. every week now is going to be crazy .. every week, SOMEONE has to go .. and they are all so good!

I LOVE this season!

I think that there is so much talent this year (unlike in previous years when it was easy to pick who would go home except for maybe 3 or 4) that it is going to be difficult EVERY week. That said - I am not a Pia fan, so I wasn't upset that she went home last night. I was, however, absolutely APPALLED at the reaction from the judges. I think it was in extremely poor taste. I was disgusted by the whole thing - and Ryan made me nauseated.

And what was that comment that Jacob made that if America put him in the bottom 3 it would not be because of his vocal abilities, but because we could not look at ourselves in the mirror ??? I know how I took it - what is your take on it?

Yeah, that comment might not serve him well and come back to bite him in the behind. I have to admit, I didn't know what Jacob sang Tuesday night because I muted the TV and washed the dishes while he was singing. I always thought he seemed like a really nice young man - I just cant' stand to listen to him sing or watch him sing.

Yep, Pia had chops, but she was soooo boooorrrriiinnng!

The judges aren't doing anyone any favors by falling all over themselves every time someone sings; they are supposed to be giving constructive criticism. The performances weren't all that great this week.

I really like James. He's a little immature and at times he has his ticks; but it seems as if he is making progress with his disability and I applaud everyone around him for letting him be who he is. The kid can sing almost anything.

And, what was Iggy on???????
