Since the show has aired already it isn't a spoiler. Stefano finally got voted off the show. It was way past his time. He had so little personality on stage and he rarely put feeling in his singing. The only time he had personality was when they were showing the candid footage. Sorry but Jacob can sing circles around Stefano and I agree that his mirror comment was completely taken out of context and totally overblown. If the show thought that it was a bad thing to say they would have edited it out. Just like if the show thought it was a bad idea to set the piano on fire they wouldn't have done it. Just like they overblew James comment that he didn't want to have a Pepsi moment and now they put Coke signs up behind him since Coke is a sponsor.

I like Stefano a lot better than I like Jacob, in singing AND in personality. I think that Stefano can sing circles around Jacob - it's all just a matter of personal taste and what type of music you like.

And the show isn't going to edit out what Jacob said - it's garnered a lot of publicity for the show, and publicity means viewers.

It didn't get edited because it was just controversial enough to keep it on without being terribly offensive. They only air what they want seen in the pre-taped segments. I don't listen to R&B or Gospel but I love Jacob's singing. I picture Stefano in a boy band.

I'll be happy with the top 5 this year (assuming Jacob will go next, unless one of the others really bombs next week), although I still wish Paul had made it a little further - I enjoyed his quirky style. Saw him on Regis & Kelly and evidently he is now dating Nikki Reed (not relevant here, just gossip stuff).
