I agree on the Fergie thing. Just didn't look like her at all. Why don't women see that botox causes their faces to look funny not better? Oh well.....
I was surprised that Naimi (sp) didn't get the boot and Karen did. I actually thought Karen had a decent voice. Naimi on the other hand, EEK! And Casey sounded horrible. JMOs of course

OMG!!!!

Now I'm SO confused

I LOVE Jacob, but James did so well tonight! As did Scotty. Who knew you could make a Stevie Wonder song country?? And Steven must have thought it was great also. What guy did he get up there and hug? I know it wasn't Antonio, it wasn't Casey (whom I didn't think did that well after hearing everyone else), it wasn't Paul. I can't remember who the other guys were. I think Haley did awesome, Thia was OK, but not good enough. Pia really has a good voice, a BEAUTIFUL voice, kinda like Celine Dion, BUT, put some emotion into it girl!! Niami did Ok, her dance was what made her performance, her singing wasn't that great. I thought it was (here you go Randy) kinda pitchy. JMHO. Anyway, it's really going to be hard to choose. Everyone is SO talented! I wonder who will win? James?

James was absolutely WONDERFUL tonight! Randy's comments were crazy. What was he listening to? Not the same thing I was, that's for sure! Anyway, James got my vote... twice. My 9yo DD begged me to vote for Scotty for her, so I did, but only once. Don't know which girl I want to give a vote to yet, I liked my usual two... Pia and Thia, but I also liked Lauren a lot tonight too....

I thought James was the best by far tonight, just awesome. I really, really liked Casey tonight(so much better than last week), and I absolutely loved Paul tonight. His singing is just so easy - no screaming or all those runs, and he doesn't depend on all those big notes to "make" his performance. I like that he just sings. So many of the contestants seem to think those big notes can make up for an otherwise mediocre performance, if that makes sense. Scotty was pretty good, too. I can actually hear him on the radio right now as a country singer. I am sooooooooo glad that the experts working with the kids told Jacob to tone it down. I actually was able to listen to him tonight without wincing or muting the TV. I still don't care for the "gospel" vibe of his music, but I think he did a really good job tonight, and doesn't he just seem like the nicest young man? I wasn't a big fan of Stefano tonight either, and I normally really like him.

The girls? I liked Lauren tonight, but that's about it. I really think it is going to be the battle of the boys this year.

We like Haley .. she didn't seem so comfortable in those stillettos last nite .. but she found her stride.
I'm glad Lauren is back.
Thia - who knew?? She actually looked like she was having fun.
Pia - I'm sooooooooo glad they called her out on hiding behind the mike ..
I like Niema .. always have .. always will .. she has GREAT spirit..

So that's my take.

Personally, I vote for Scotty, but I think James is great---I think he's the most likely to win the whole thing.

I'm sort of biased for country, though, lol.
