Just as a reminder. James has Asperger's. Part of Asperger's is emotional purity and social awkwardness.

If he was disappointed or devastated, it shows.

I felt really bad for him. He was so trying to hold it together.

He's an amazingly talented kid who has overcome two highly stigmatized disabilities and shown an amazing amount of fortitude on this show.

An inspiration to a parent with an Aspie child.....

I love this kid.

I agree too. James has tons of talent and a great heart. I hope he has a Daughtry kind of career.

I bought the first Daughtry album. The only other AI contestant (winner or not) I've bought is Carrie Underwood and Phil Stacy. Go figure! I agree that some actual winners of AI are hard to remember. Why do people vote for someone to win AI if they don't buy their albums and help them have a stand-out career?

I'll vote for Scotty, because I would buy an album from him.
