American serama thread!

I can't wait to see what comes out of my eggs! Only 10ish days to go, I do believe!

Ok smoothmule here are some pictures of the 17 chicks I hatched over the weekend

And this is a close up of one of my chipmonk colored chicks, like your above but lighter

happy hatching

The yellow chicks look big. Are they Seramas too? I see a few tiny ones in there, in the food bowl. They are all very adorable.

I'm so glad Seramas come out feathered, and cute instead of naked wrinkly, and ugly like other baby birds. Those kinds of pictures

just wouldn't have the same effect as the cute little fuzzies.

Hi,
Yes they are all Serama's. I think the yellow one looks so big because it's next to one of the teeny tiny one's...lol
The two darker mottled chicks are from a Class A pairing. They are dinky.

TailFluff, The golden is Ken's, mine is the silver (but carries gold as well from what I'm seeing in his chicks). Seems's like a pure silver is very hard to get. It could also be my hen (Ashe) though. Hens can also carry both silver and gold.

Oh dear, I see what you mean. Your silver guy and gal are cute too, hehe.
From what I'm noticing silver duckwing has been hard to perfect in seramas but I just love all of the variations and colors.

Sue - beautiful little rooster! I've never seen a serama with colors quite like his.
