She has absolutely no other symptoms. She was like that when I got her.

Try putting terrimycin eye salve in her eye. I had a serama hen awhile back who came down with what looked like cherry eye to me, I treated her with the antibiotic and she healed up in just over a week, my hen also had no other symptoms.

I've got 4 roos that are 3 months old who haven't started crowing yet but they are from the same pair that gave me Squeaky, my whisper quiet roo, so I'm hoping I get more like that!

I don't think they have APA approval yet, just ABA. Black is next, and then wheaten or mottled (I hope wheaten). I remember Jerry typing once that the import was on a plane over the Atlantic while the WTC was being destroyed, adding a big monkey wrench to the plan. That's an easy way to remember the year they came here.

You could talk about table top judging, which is unique to Seramas (and maybe runner ducks). You'll need to know the scoring categories on the card, and how much each category is worth. The ABA doesn't recognise weight classes, but there is a standard weight for cocks, hens, pullets, ect., that you'll need to know. You'll want to know all of the varieties (silkied, frizzled, booted), and you'll need to know how the ABA judge will handle these. If you look up the standard, you'll find a list of defects and disqulifications, and you'll want to memorize them. A lot to know, good luck!
