I'm so excited I have 20 Serama eggs developing, some of mine and some shipped. I can't wait for the hatching to begin. Thanks for the cute pix of the babies.
Anyways, I only had one chick out of my batch hatch. Poor little guy was lonely for five good days until I was able to pick it up a buddy from a feed store (a golden sebright, who was noticeably larger than the serama even at 12 hours old!). I have some pics of last night of the serama at 9 days old. Pretty sure it's a chocolate, with fuzzy booties!
Hi, everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. I don't have Seramas yet, but my hubby is building a little coop so we can get some in the near future. The coop/run will be 4' x 6', and they will be able to free range quite a few hours a day. I have 6 standard hens, will the little Seramas be able to free range with the big hens or will I have to let them out at separate times? What are your experiences with this? I am so excited to join the Serama world!
