American serama thread!

I just heard a peep in my lockdown box, gosh I hope they make it (they should make a nervous icon, I guess this one fits best:

Was ok when I put it in lockdown yesterday. The other one I heard peep not too long ago, but ??? I hope it didn't get so hot in there, I just don't know.

I just heard 3 very strong peeps coming from that egg! If it's that loud, hopefully it's strong!

just keep a close ear on it, it it seems to be getting week, you may need to help it a little- what i do if that happens is peel just a little of the shell, to get him started
 
Tonight, I went to a show to drop off some birds, and ended up with a very young Serama pullet. I've already studied the breed standard, but was wondering if they were safe to be kept with a Bantam Cochins, Wyandottes, and a PR? She is going to be used as a show bird, and I want to keep her in top condition.

As for your question. I keep my seramas with my other bantams and have even kept them with my Dominiques without problems. I f you notice her being chased around a lot or looking ruffed up and shy in the corner you may want to seperate her. If she seems okay, then you can leave her in the flock.
