American serama thread!

I just wanted to say that I am loving the serama trio I purchased this weekend (second pullet not in photos). They are 3-4 months old and living in a large cat carrier in my office right now until they feather in better. The cockeral just crowed for the first time and I cannot stop cracking up. My husband was in the next room and he did not even hear him. Sounds like a little squeakie toy! I have silkies and bantam cochins and hope I can integrate the seramas in with them eventually.

Your Seramas are great but your boy steals the show! Beautiful pictures!

EEeek! I just peeked in the incubator and there was a little chicklett! Adorably small! He/she is wandering around nice and strong, thank goodness! Musta just walked out of that egg as I chipped it so open, soon as it was finished absorbing everything ;) Will take pictures!

For some reason I can't post pics? Isn't showing anywhere to load them. Any idea as to why?
what i have to do is to copy the html code, come over to the reply window, there is a button 'source' click it, paste the html go back and click 'source' and then do your editing, its a pain - what browser are you using?

fantastic!! wheres the pics???

checked mine and 6 are growing still, think i'll give them to Josie when they reach lockdown...

I had to take more photos and get some name advice. I am thinking either Macchiato/Cappucino/Frappe (rooster) and Latte & Mocha (hens) OR Meringue (rooster) and Toffee and Butterscotch (hens). What do you think?

I thought to get friendly seramas, I was going to have to let these guys have chicks for me next spring to be young enough to tame. HAH! After holding these for 15 minutes, they don't want to be left alone! I am going to have to cover them and put them in the other room for the night so they stop begging to be on my shoulders...

I love them! The little roo is awesome!

I think Machiatto and those names are cute.

You'd be surprised how friendly they can be. I love that they are in your house in the same pen I use for mine!

Ok, baby is with some fuzzy stuff and a mirror in a separate box in the brooder. Hope it'll be ok! I'll have other bantam chicks on Friday :) I was worried because they kept stepping on him, and he was getting crushed against the box (he moved and they just go on top of him :( )

Hey, I got my Wild West Serama Club info packet in the mail the day my first Serama hatched
