American serama thread!

I just put my new Serama with my other Bantams tonight, it went way better then last night. I checked on them a little bit ago, and she was snuggling with my Wyandotte.

I was told my three seramas are about 4 months old. How much longer in the body do you think they will get when they are full grown? I would like to buy some little chicken diapers - never thought I would be doing this - since we are wanting to hold them so much in the house. I've been trying to drape towels over my kids laps, but the seramas and kids wiggle around too much for that to be very effective. I want to make sure they aren't too small to fit later.

Good to hear, BantyChickenLuv, Hopefully it'll go well for mine when my bantams arrive from Ideal :)

Thanks froggiesheins, I can't believe so much cuteness can be in one thing! Puts the big chicks to shame!!

hee hee, Scifisarah, that's so funny. Never thought I'd have chickens in the house either! I am afraid I don't know the answer to your question, but I did find a good youtube video on how to make diapers, which, since it's kind of easy, might be worth it for you to make one now and upgrade it later? I'll add the link when I find it

Here is my little poopsie, so quiet! So calm! Nothing like my leghorn chicks, and seems to be fine with the mirror and fuzzy I gave it. I really hope it's a boy though!!

Sory, not a great picture ...

I need some good thoughts for Charles. I took him to the vet today and he is on antibiotics. H e is fluffed up and not doing well at all, even with the meds.
