American serama thread!

I think the chick is still young enough to be on the egg sack, but can't she use the stuff you get at TSC? The Sav-a-chick Electrolyte stuff? Or maybe some Gro-Gel Plus B? I ordered some from one of the hatcheries and keep in on hand. Its a green jell-o like stuff for hydrI have
I have some on hand myself but in a pinch when you dont have some and the feed store is closed you can get pedialyte at most stores like 24 hours a day. Just a thought in a pinch it may mean the difference in the chick living or dying before the feed store opens. My Mom is a nurse and she always said it was used in the hospital when people cant keep anything else down to save them from dehydration. I would try to give it to a weak chick if I had nothing else. Keep us posted on little peeper's progress Gabrielle. OK?

So I finally took a picture of some of my Seramas. The first 2 will be 6 weeks old this week. Funny, neither of them would stand up when they saw the camera. The 3rd pic is of my little "Peewee" who will be 5 weeks old this week. I love them all but Peewee is my favorite.

This is one of my little pullets who was born on Halloween. Her name is Boo:

This is my little Roo. His name is Grandpa because when when he was born the feathers on his head made him look just like Grandpa on the Munsters:

And this is little Peewee. She was a singleton the was hatched from one of Bhep's eggs:
