Sorry I have been away, been sick and home from hospital now and feeling better! ohhhh I have alot of reading.....

Bhep~ the one I tried to help I did what I could and wrapped her in a damp towel, but DH said she was dead stuck in shell as I had to go to hospital, poor thing : (

but Harmony has these from BHEP until CPL go into lockdown this weekend..... Names???? anyone???

I put two bowls in the bator...only got humidity up to 50%...added a rag and that brought it up to 75%...still not a pip or anything....getting worried...this is the 19th day for them!

I only had one pip on day 20, everyone else hatched on day 21. I kept my temp at 99-100 the whole time, though.

I just LOVE these pictures!!! I'm so sorry you were ill, though! I hope you're feeling all better now? Take care!

Here is a Silkie cross that has turned out to be a frizzle/sizzle. She will be 3 weeks tomorrow.




I "think" Cochin is the other half of her genes, as she has yellow skin/feet/beak. But she has the tell-tell 5 toe feet. She was the buddy I got for Uno (my single Serama) and she just keeps getting better. First, she has a superb personality, and now a frizzle/sizzle. This little "girl"

is a terrific little pal for Uno.(who stressed himself senseless the first 3 days of his little life) Now, they are 2 peas in a pod.

Oh WOW, what a total love she is turning out to be! I can't believe it's been 3 weeks already! I love her coloring, she's so sweet!

Unless you were running really warm, they should hatch day 21 like a normal chicken, and I think it's much better to try to give them that kind of steady, not too temperature. I think you are doing really well.

Hi decided to join your thread. I just hatched 4 serama chicks on the Dec. 1st that I got from Crazypetlady. I realy had gotten 9 but 4 hatched and I can't be more thrilled about it. I have falling in love with these little guys. One of the babies is showing rooster attitude. Standing very straight and rushes my hand when I put my hand in the cage. Big tuff guy. I hold them often. I want to learn all I can about them and raise them right. My first question is when do they get off the medicated [ I also mix with ground wheat grain] feed and go to the grower food and what type should I get? I think someone said to soak the food but I haven't and they are eating well. No pasty butts so far. Here is some pictures of them.
