Gabby did you hatch your own eggs? sorry if I already asked Harmonys are so cute... daddy took a few pics I just didnt get to upload yet...
Yes I did , they come from my two little hens , I have heard your not sapose to try to hatch eggs from hens when they first start laying but these guys seem just fine , I only got 3 out of the 8 I put in 2 were clear if I emmber and 3 got to day 16 or so and quit for some reason , I think it was my fualt with the humidity and not the partents or genes or anythng . I love these little guys.
How do you guys get your birds to stand like that mine tend more tword road runner poses except the boy who stands up much straiter.

If there is anyone in/near Virginia looking for some Serama pets I have a sweet pair in need of a home. They are much too white (mottling) for my taste but so friendly and hardy. Currently on a sheltered porch, but still dealing with outside temps. They are also very good buddies so I'd like to keep them together. Can't ship at this time, hence the restriction to pickup in Virginia. Asking $25.00 for the pair.

They were hatched on September 22nd.

My babies are now 3 weeks old and Toy really shows he is a roo! Twinkle may be a roo but doesn't show as much as Toy and Tinsel the frizzle has a very proud stand but still think hen. Do all the sexes play spar? Little Holly Berry likes to stay hidden she is the dark one.

Does anyone use a hamster waterer in the cage? I have had one in sense the chicks were hatched and they don't even try to drink from it. I had hope I wouldn't have to keep a bowl of water in the cage.
