I was going to try that myself, but then my daughter came home with a mouse, and the mouse took it from me, ROFL

I'm so sad, I lost another egg today, only have 3 still alive in the incubator

I once read (but haven't tried it myself) that someone put some yogurt on the tip. Then (the birds) went for the yogurt and figured out that it had water and drank from the bottle ever since.

Thank you Easter eggers! At the moment, the pictures aren't showing up, are they always gone? Or should I check back later for them? Otherwise, I think I understand what they're saying

So, my cockerel has the coloring of a black copper maran. Would I call him a black Copper Serama? LOL, I wish I could figure out his genetics so I can guess what I might get if I bred him to the girls I have? But his coloring is not in the chicken calculator

Put some marbles or stones in your water dish. These chicks are so small that they can actually drown in there.
