American serama thread!

Now here is Toy Boy and Holly Berry. Last pictures of them living inside. Toy is far to noisy for the other folks that live in the house. He a Berry will be a waiting most of the new chicks to join them as a flock. I hope the boys will get along for I think they will be so fun with all the pretty little birds running around! He is handsome but Holly looks like a starling! Look at her black legs!

Here is my Serama chicks hatched these last few days. I love the colors. Anyone have any idea what their colors will be? I have 8 all together. have 3 more in the bator but not much hope for them altho they look like they could hatch. You will see that the red one with the black patch on head is a bit splayed legged. I put a brace on her this morning and legs look normal already!

Wow...no guesses on color (and they will probably surprise you) But I LOVE those black ones with the silverish heads!! Those are gorgeous!

Cute all the way!! But...I'd suggest putting more bedding in there--the slick floor makes potential splay legs worse, so you want to either have fine hardware cloth/screen under your shavings or add more shavings. Just my experience, which is more with rabbits than with chickens... :)

So here is my latest addition. This little one hatched on Feb. 1st and still has no name. Suggestions welcomed.

Awwww what a cutie!! I'm stumped on a name... Heck I have 8 good eggs in my incubator right now, and have no idea what names they're gonna get LOL!
