A friend of mine lost his house to a fire over the weekend. I'm donating these three birds, to auction off to raise funds for him and his family. If you're interested in these or other items, please visit our auction site..

, Also so I know where in GA is the BBR pullet located?

I am going to repost since no one commented :)
I have my first two home grown serama chicks and was wondering about their color, anyone have chicks hatch this color, what do they look like now?

Serama chicks often change color several times before deciding on a color. unless you have only certain color parents white black ect. you wont know for a while what color you are going to end up with.

I just lost my old english rooster I used him to sex silkie chicks for me he would separate 3 month old males and females and he was only wrong twice. I thought a serama rooster would be a good replacement for him since they are so Tiny, chances he would do the job are slim but worth a try. Do they require any special care different from silkies and rosecombs?

My newbs!! Left to right, DethHawk, Murloc, Deemon (DethHawk and Deemon are full siblings out of my exchequer x black pair... and full siblings to London and Raine, also black and white birds.... so where in the world did Deemon get that crazy gold face???? LOL)

I'm a little worried about Taco.

He has been in side full time for a week now I think. He is crowing ALL the time, and I think it's actually getting louder. It sounds like he's screaming at the top of his lungs, and then at the end there's a sort of squeak echo. It ALMOST sounds like wheezing, but not really?
Anyone know what this could be?

You may have to really turn your sound up to hear the squeak at the end of the crow.
He literally crows every 30-60 seconds all day long. And it's not just when the outside roosters crow (you may be able to hear them in the background if you have good speakers ha)

He is only in the cage because it's the best way I could get him to hold still for video, he spends all of his time diapered with free reign of the house except for an hour or so when he goes outside on a 20 foot leash while I do daily chores.

He doesn't stop if we put him in the cage covered by a blanket. Sometimes he slows down, and I can't speak for when I'm not around, and if I leave the room for longer than half an hour I can usually tune him out so he may stop I don't notice, but for sure he stops crowing around 6 or 7pm, but he starts back up again around 9 or 10 until we go to bed. The only up side so far is that because he stays up so late with us, and our room stay dark until we wake up, he no longer crows until we get up in the morning (which is AWESOME because he sleeps 4 inches from my face on a stack of textbooks LOL)

He is so cute! He sounds normal to me. Maybe he calls a lot for he wants his own kind to be around. A Chicken is a chicken. Tame down a girl friend for him. Hope to see you soon!
