American serama thread!

Just hatched and bought some more Serama chicks!!! The little black one and the fat brown one with the feathered feet were hatched out here (the feather footed one is actually 25% Millie Fleur D'uccle, just hatched it out for fun). I also got a little bluish chick! just hoping he stays blue, although I think he might turn black. The little roo is very sweet and he was for free, I think they may not have wanted to cull him as the breeders son had gotten rather attached to him.

So adorable. are these the ones you were saying you would give me a new hen from? The little d'uccle cross is cute id like that if it were a female haha

I have two white roosters and one white hen. However they are size A, and her eggs often don't even have a yoke in them. Needless to say, I have not gotten any chicks from them yet....Hoping I will soon...I have a few of hers in the incubator now. If I get any white chicks I will let you know :)

I don't know what size A is but I have a hen that's tiny and she lays jelly bean eggs. Some don't have a yolk either. I snuck some of hers under my bigger broody hen right now. Hope something becomes of her eggs.

she has 6 eggs under her right now. Two of hers, two jelly beans, one silkie, and one bantam Cochin. I'm proud of my bantam. She outlays most of the LF birds.

? Size of class b or c Serama eggs...closer to size of quail egg or banatam egg?

They are probably about in between. I haven't hd B or C sized hens yet, but I have ordered eggs and the C birds are more like a bantam and the B's are a little more like a quail. Just depends, some hens lay bigger eggs while others lay smaller eggs.
