After they hatch are they more delicate than other chickens? What care do they need?

They don't seem any more delicate than other chicks to me. But one important thing to keep in mind, Regular chick starter crumbles are too big for them to eat, so you have to either grind or moisten the crumbles so they can eat.

I raise quail would they be able to eat the game bird starter? It is finer in consistency.

have eight eggs so far. maybe another tonight and what ever comes tomorrow keep your fingers crossed for an even dozen.

if you cant get an even dozen of serama eggs just throw some random eggs (if you have other birds) in it to make a dozen or something

I have jersey giants, black copper marans, and americana mixes. I get 2 dozen eggs a day from them.

They go from a light cream color to really dark brown, with some green and even some grayish ones from one of my hens.
