I have a few full blood black copper maran hens. The roos are jersey giant/black copper maran x's. they have blue factor the bodies are blue with either a red or silver cape and saddle

really big boys 12 to 13 pounds each

they are gorgeous. i thought marans laid dark brown eggs though where does the green come from?

the green comes from the americana and jersey giant crosses.

ah okay. the maran crosses are gorgeous either way. so if you cant make up the dozen with the seramas just add some of those or you can do what i do when i give people eggs and add extra eggs just cuz, your choice
