American serama thread!

Darn. I would say send them this way if I wasn't already full lol. I love the silkies especially but the frizzles are super cute too. The straight feathered do feel like velvet though on a couple of mine. They're just so soft compared to the others. I love them too. Heck I just love them all! Lol.

Well, if you can hang on for another 4 months or so, I have a whole group of silky Seramas I'm raising, and I also have another trio of Frizzles that will be laying a couple months before the silkies. So around May or so I should have silky and frizzle eggs coming out my ears and I could send you a fairly good sized order of eggs.

Where in oregon do you live? I live in western montana and travel to Yakima, Wa from time to time. I have juviniles now. send me a PM maybe we can work something out.
 
Jess, I went through all your pictures (again) lol and i dont know the JG . Is it the white ones with the longer tails? those are pretty. dont they get around 12lbs.?

Yes those are white jersey giants. I have white and black jersey giants. The black ones get slightly larger than the whites. Yes they do get from 11 to 13 pounds for the roo's and 8 to 10 pounds for the hens. My crosses however seem to be larger than their full blooded parents. At least they are larger in body size and slightly taller. I have only one black jersey giant roo left. All the roos I have now other than that one is a cross.
