American serama thread!

I have been giving a mission to help a total stranger. I have a couple ideas but would like some input from all of you as well. we have a homeless shelter about 20 miles from here. Not tons of money but some. I am thinking blankets? not sure.

oh Lady, that is the most logical thing to do and i am quite embarrassed to not have thought of it.

I might not have thought of it except I have done so much donating to the homeless shelter, the unwed teen girl's shelter, and the children's home that I have learned to do that.

My mother and I ran a food pantry for many years until she had her strokes.

I am sorry to hear of the strokes. my dh had a massive stroke in 98 he was supposed to be a veggie. I call him my tomato head. he never got full function back but he gets by. I also lost my mom this past may. That hurts beyond compare. I took care of her for 10 yrs. and i miss her something awful. I am happy you were able to help so much. I will not be able to do much but a little something will be better then not at all.
