I have and love seramas!

Is there buy any chance someone in Central Texas that needs any because I have this one little hen who as her heart set on having chicks. But I'm not letting her because I don't have any available space. This is what the chick she hatched last year turned out like.

Now Aurora is broody. I give up. I'm taking Serama eggs out of my classified. I'm going to have to save what I can of my own eggs to put under broodies!

I probably need 50 hens to have a reliable supply of eggs.

Your welcome...... Try placing a soup can half full of water with some paper towels behind the fan or in that general area that should do the trick.

do you mean with the paper towels half in and half out of the can? and where the electrical wires are ?

Muffet can only cover 5 of her new eggs. She's trying to cover all 7 but she can't, so I'm going to have to put two of them in the incubator.

Could you put some under Aurora? or are you trying to ride out her broodiness? I know what you mean about broody!!!! LOL I have eight hens and about half are trying to be broody at any given time........

I think I'll go ahead and do that. Put the 2 extras from you under her, and add 3 or so of my own. I need to build up my flock.
