Duck eggs have a strong taste some dont like it I didnt. They are most excellent in cakes and cookies. Makes really fluffy cakes!

im wanting a drake and hens but knowing my luck normally id get 5 drakes and a hen xD
ill have to just try duck eggs then. would TSC have them like male and female or more like straightrun?

I've never bought fowl from them but when I look at the chickens while I'm in there they're always marked hens or straight run.

can the ducks range with chickens? like just around the yard and do the wings need to be clipped? i dont clip chickens

The first time i baught pullets from our local ag store i ended up with 4 cockerals!!! Go figure thet garantee 90% i spoke with the store and they told me the hatchery guarantees that not them. Can you believe that? That was the last time i purchased chicks from them.

wow that sucks lol. usually im pretty good at guessing sexes at young ages. my three silkies i guessed all their sexes by how they acted
