American serama thread!

umm, this is too weird on its own but now, I dont know what to say. went outside and found a baby chick dead in my fenced in back yard. It had just died . No idea where it came from.
 
Maybe? I dont know anyone around here that has any but i guess it could of traveled a ways. It was the same kind i had that froze about 4 days ago but it wasnt stiff. did have a couple bare spots on it though.

It could have been in hiding for a few days like ladycat's.

I just had to clean a comb tear in one of my pullets. Cockerel torn it trying to breed. She was definitely not interested.
 
you think it wasnt dead when i had my grandson put them over the hill. that would be terrible. It got really cold last night.
I was thinking maybe when the other died it got scared and lonely and maybe hid.

I lost the whole brooder. 7 of them . they were just getting wing feathers. wires caught fire, blew all the heat lamps. and took them all. I have another brooder out there with older babies by about a week and they made it.
